Roger Ground House

A quick guide to the essentials of your stay.

Arrival & keys

Check-in from 4pm. Key safe code is provided in your booking confirmation email — to the right of the front door.

Wi-Fi

Network and password are on the welcome card in the kitchen.

Heating & hot water

Oil-fired central heating, controlled from the thermostat in the hall. Hot water is on a timer; boost button by the airing cupboard.

Bins & recycling

General waste collected Wednesdays, recycling alternate Wednesdays. Bins live behind the stone wall by the driveway.

Departure

Check-out by 10am. Please strip beds, load the dishwasher, and leave keys in the safe.

Emergencies

If you have a real maintenance emergency during your stay that simply cannot wait until our offices open the next day, please call 07507 466 070. The number is available until 8pm.

Fires

A basketful of logs will be provided for your stay. Further logs can be bought from the Motorbody Accident Repair Centre at the bottom of the hill.
